Your questions answered.
What is the minimum finance amount?
Our commercial vehicle and equipment finance enquiries start at $20,000. You can request up to $3 million through this form. The amount a lender may offer depends on its product limits, the asset, your business circumstances and assessment.
What types of trucks can I enquire about?
Tell us about the truck your business needs, including prime movers, rigid trucks, tippers, refrigerated trucks, crane trucks and delivery vehicles. Asset age, condition, intended use and lender policy affect the options.
Can I finance trailers and attachments?
You can enquire about eligible transport trailers, equipment attachments and related business assets. Share the item details, supplier and expected purchase price so your broker can discuss the request.
Can I finance used equipment or an older truck?
Used asset enquiries are welcome. Lenders may consider the age at the start and end of the loan, hours or kilometres, condition, valuation and seller. There is no single age limit across all lenders.
Can I buy from a private seller?
Some lenders may consider private sales. Tell us who is selling the asset. Your broker will explain any valuation, ownership, seller verification and settlement requirements before you proceed.
Do I need a deposit?
Deposit requirements vary by lender and assessment. Tell us your purchase price, finance amount and any cash or trade in contribution. Do not assume the full purchase price or additional costs will be financed.
What is the difference between low doc, lite doc and full doc?
These describe different documentation pathways. Eligible low doc or lite doc requests may use alternative or focused evidence. Full doc assessments generally require a fuller set of financial information. The definitions and requirements vary by lender.
Can a new business enquire?
Yes. Let us know when the business started trading and what contracts, income evidence or other supporting information you have. A new business should not assume it qualifies for low doc finance. Available options depend on lender assessment.
Can sole traders, companies and trusts enquire?
Yes. Choose your structure in the form. If you select Trust, choose the trust type too. Your broker will explain the entity, trustee, director or owner information needed for a full application.
Does the asset need to be used for business?
For this commercial enquiry, the asset must be intended predominantly for business use, meaning more than 50%. If it will mainly be used personally, speak to us about the appropriate consumer finance pathway.
What information should I have ready?
Start with your ABN, business structure, approximate finance amount, asset details and timing. Tell us whether financials are available. Your broker will explain any later bank statements, BAS, accountant information, financial records or identification requirements.
Can I enquire before choosing a specific asset?
Yes. Select Not sure yet and tell us the type of work the asset needs to do. A broker can discuss the next questions to consider. Any indicative discussion remains subject to the final asset and a lender assessment.
Can I finance more than one asset?
Fleet purchases and multiple equipment items can be discussed. Provide a list of assets and expected costs. Funding structure, security and documentation depend on the lender and the overall request.
Can I discuss refinancing an existing truck or equipment loan?
Tell us about the asset, current loan, estimated payout and your reason for reviewing it. Your broker can discuss whether a refinance pathway may be available and explain costs and requirements. Savings or a lower total cost are not guaranteed.
How are the rate and repayments determined?
A lender considers the request and your circumstances when deciding its offer. Compare the proposed rate, fees, repayment frequency, term, security and any final payment. A calculator estimate is not a personalised quote.
What is a balloon or final payment?
A balloon is an amount left to pay at the end of the loan. It may reduce regular instalments but leaves a final commitment. Availability depends on the lender and asset. Ask for the full repayment schedule and total cost before deciding.
Can I enquire if my credit history is not perfect?
Choose the credit file indicator that best reflects your situation. A broker can discuss the relevant information and lender requirements. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that a suitable option or approval will be available.
Does the initial enquiry run a credit check?
No credit report is requested through this initial enquiry. Your broker will explain the information, checks and consents needed if you decide to proceed with a full application.
Why does the form ask me to verify my mobile and email?
Where online verification is available, separate codes help confirm that you can access the contact details entered. Verification does not assess your credit or approve finance. If code delivery is unavailable, the form clearly identifies an unverified broker follow up enquiry.
What happens after I submit my enquiry?
The enquiry is saved with a reference. The team can review your goals and contact you to discuss your circumstances, documentation and possible next steps. An enquiry is not a lender application or approval.
Can approval and settlement happen on the same day?
It may be possible for eligible, straightforward requests where the lender has all required information and can complete its assessment and settlement processes in time. Approval and settlement are separate steps. Conditions, asset and seller checks, signed contracts, lender cut off times and cleared funds can delay settlement. We do not guarantee same day outcomes.
Can I enquire with an ABN or GST registration that started today?
Yes, you can enquire and select Registered today in the form. This does not mean a lender will approve your request. Trading history, business experience, income evidence, asset details and any required security will affect options. Unified Loans does not provide an ABN or GST registration service.
Does Unified Loans service regional and rural businesses?
Yes. Our Brisbane based team welcomes enquiries across Australia, including regional and rural businesses. Provider coverage and product availability depend on location, asset type and the lender assessment.
Which finance structures can I discuss?
You can indicate an interest in Chattel Mortgage, Leasing, Hire Purchase or Rent to Own. Your broker will explain whether a suitable provider is available and the ownership, security, payments and end of term requirements to compare. Not every structure is available for every request.
