What could your loan
repayments look like?
Explore the effect of your amount, term, assumed interest rate and extra repayments. This is a mathematical illustration, not an offer of finance.
Your loan assumptions
The 9% starting assumption is illustrative, not an advertised lender rate. Enter the rate you want to test. Product terms, repayment options and extra payment rules depend on the lender.
Excludes all fees, charges and any balloon payment.

Important assumptions and limitations
This calculator provides general mathematical estimates only. It does not assess your ability to repay, eligibility or suitability, and is not a credit quote, approval or recommendation. A lender’s actual offer and repayment schedule can differ.
Assumes a constant entered annual interest rate divided by 12, 26 or 52 periods per year, payments in arrears and principal and interest amortisation. The term is measured using the selected periods per year. Extra repayments are applied every period and the final payment is capped at the outstanding balance plus accrued period interest. Calculations use unrounded figures, so actual payment rounding may differ.
Excludes establishment, broker, ongoing, government, late payment, early payout and optional product costs. It does not model a balloon, offset, redraw, interest only period, variable rate changes or a lender’s daily interest method. Use the separate finance calculator for a balloon illustration.
Extra repayments may be restricted or attract fees, especially on fixed rate loans. The interest and time differences shown exclude those charges. Longer terms may lower scheduled repayments while increasing total interest. A comparison rate, where required in a credit offer or advertisement, includes specified fees for a stated benchmark; this calculator does not generate one or advertise a lender product.
Request a written lender offer showing the actual rate, comparison rate where applicable, fees, repayments and total cost before deciding. Do not rely on this calculator alone to make a borrowing decision.
