Privacy policy
Unified Loans Pty Ltd (ACN 655 584 606) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you contact us, use this website or seek assistance with finance. Updated 16 October 2026.
Information we collect
We collect information reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and assist with finance. This may include your name, contact details, address, employment, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, loan purpose and preferences. Business enquiries may include your ABN, entity details, business structure, trust type where relevant, industry, equipment category, purchase plans, director information, property ownership and financial records.
Our initial enquiry asks for your borrowing amount, timeframe, personal or business use, vehicle or asset type, self reported credit indicator, preferred term and repayment frequency, employment and residential situation, approximate income and postcode. Where relevant, it also records documentation preferences, financials readiness and employer participation in novated leasing. We store contact verification status, ABN lookup results and advertising campaign parameters supplied with your enquiry.
A self reported credit indicator is not a credit report. Submitting this initial enquiry does not run a credit check or submit an application to a lender. Please do not enter banking passwords, identity document numbers or sensitive documents into the enquiry form. Your broker will explain any later document and verification requirements.
How we collect information
We usually collect information directly from you through our website, telephone conversations, email and finance application process. Where authorised or permitted by law, we may also collect information from your representatives, referral partners, advisers, lenders and verification providers. We only collect sensitive information where reasonably necessary and with consent or another lawful basis.
Why we use your information
We use information to respond to enquiries, understand your requirements, assess and explain suitable finance options, help prepare and manage applications, verify information, maintain records, improve our services and meet legal obligations. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to progress your enquiry or application.
Enquiries are stored in the website’s hosted database. Where connected, contact verification uses Twilio Verify and its email delivery integration, and ABN lookup uses the Australian Business Register. Contact details are provided to verification services to send and check codes. If online verification is unavailable, details remain marked unverified for broker follow up.
Who we may share information with
Where necessary for the services you request or permitted by law, we may disclose relevant information to prospective lenders, our credit licensee and relevant aggregation service providers, authorised representatives and advisers, identity verification providers, technology and hosting providers, professional advisers, regulators and other authorities. Relevant recipients and any further credit reporting arrangements will be explained during the application process and in applicable credit and privacy documents.
Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps required by applicable privacy law to protect information disclosed overseas. Contact our Privacy Officer for information about relevant providers and available country details before proceeding with a service that involves overseas disclosure.
Marketing choices
Marketing consent on our enquiry form is separate and optional. You can opt out of marketing by using an unsubscribe option or contacting us. Opting out does not prevent us from responding to an enquiry you have made or sending necessary service communications.

We may record campaign identifiers included in the link you used to reach our enquiry form. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose and applicable legal and record keeping obligations, then take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de identify it.
Access and correction
You can request access to your personal information or ask us to correct inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days. If an exception prevents access or correction, we will explain our reasons and available complaint options where required.
